THE COURSES

Just south of Dublin lies Wicklow rich in golf, ranging from great links to breathtaking hillside courses. Druids Glen, a beautifully manicured parkland course and host to the Irish Open in 1996 for 4 consecutive years. The European Club, a traditional links is sculptured on rugged tumbling sand-dune land. Nearby are the scenically spectacular Powerscourt and Rathsallagh courses.

Moving south through Waterford and onto Cork, is Cork (Little Island) dating back to 1888. Just 15 minutes away is Fota Island laid out on gently rolling parkland. Located near Kinsale is the Old Head destined to be one of the most spectacular courses in the world.

Mount Juliet House, built over 200 years ago has been painstakingly preserved and enhanced. An aura of 18th century grandeur prevails in each of the 32 ensuite bedrooms. The 7,100 yard championship layout challenges the professional and yet is equally rewarding for the higher handicap golfer.
