Dubbed the “Magnificent Monster” by Sam Snead, Waterville is a stern and stunning test of championship golf set in the kind of rugged linksland for which Ireland is famous. Waterville is rated among the top 5 courses in Ireland and the top 20 links courses in the world.

Nearby is Waterville House, an 18th century manor house overlooking Ballinskelligs Bay. Visitors to Waterville House can fish for salmon and sea trout on its private rivers and lakes. The Butlers Pool, adjacent to Waterville House, is one of Ireland’s most famous angling locations.
