THE COURSES
The West of Ireland combines the excitement of truly magnificent links golf with some of the most beautiful, rugged and unspoiled scenery in the world. These much heralded courses of the West are not for the faint of heart. They demand patience and diligence and the ever pervasive winds will test your competitive will and maturity as you battle your way around these links.
The splendid Connemara links, situated near the town of Clifden is known not only for its scenic setting, but also for its massive last six holes. Moving to the far West is Carne, a stunning masterpiece carved out of undulating landscape with little disturbance to the natural and unspoilt environment that surrounds it. Enniscrone is an acclaimed Eddie Hackett design and not far from the great County Sligo (Rosses Point) links. On the rugged sandy peninsula of Murvagh is the superb links of Donegal backed by the magnificent Blue Stack Mountains.
