"The trip was genuinely one of the most SPECIAL EXPERIENCES that I’ve ever been able to do. EVERTHING EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS.

I'd have to start with the drivers - both John & D really made the trip for us. Not only did they go above and beyond in making sure we were where we needed to be, but they were incredibly personable which made us feel even more welcomed.

We were debating our favorite courses all week, and I suspect each of us has a different list. Rosapenna in general was fantastic, and I'd put two of their courses in my top 3. #3 St. Patricks is a striking golf course that I think over the next few years will mature into one of Ireland's best. At #2 I'd actually have to say Old Tom Morris - I wasn't expecting this course to be one of my favorites but it was so different in terms of how it played, and I just felt like I was playing on land that's part of golf history. However, by far my #1 was Carne (the Hackett design). The course was incredible, but it was really the people that put it at the top of the list. From the people in the pro shop to the caddies grabbing after round Guinesses with us - everyone made us feel so appreciated for coming out to Belmullet to play their course.

As for low scores... I'll let James share more. I'm pretty confident the people of Belmullet are still raving about the "2 Iron heard around the world"... Thanks again!

          - JI, MA

"The hotels were OUTSTANDING - Adare Manor and Trump in particular - PERFECT! Restaurants were great.  Courses outstanding, and the drivers were EXCELLENT.

The hardest part of the trip were the two long (a two and a three hour) drives... Probably necessary so we could stay in the first class hotels and play first class courses... just tough logistically.

Other than that, which I think was most likely unavoidable, IT WAS A SUPERB WEEK,  and you ordered great weather on top of it!!!!!!!!! Thanks for a job well done.

          - JE, San Marino, CA

WE HAD A GREAT TIME! EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY. Our driver was awesome and made the trip extra fun. Our accommodations were great. Hotel Du Vin was nice and very convenient. Same for the Marine. We had a great meal at Little Italy in St. Andrews and another Italian place in the North Berwick, Osteria. Top 3 courses were Muirfield, Carnoustie and North Berwick.  Thanks for your help.
         - WW. PA

THE TRIP WAS EXCELLENT.  The driver was very good and knowledgeable about the area and was willing to assist where necessary, such as additional stops at atms and for shopping. The hotels were great, prime locations and nice accommodations. The golf courses were all very good but my top 3 were: Nairn, Royal Dornoch and Brora. Also thank you for arranging such great weather!
         - PH, MA

The golf trip to Scotland  turned out to be a TRIP OF A LIFETIME for me. I wouldn’t change a thing if I were to organize a trip like this in the future. This trip couldn’t have been planned and organized any better than it was, from the accommodations, to the shuttle service, the restaurants and golf courses. On a scale of 1 to 10, I WOULD RATE EVERYTHING A 10. In rating the top three golf courses I would say Royal Dornoch would be #1, Castle Stuart was my 2nd favorite course and Moray and Brora would be tied for 3rd.
         - TR, PA

Thank you for helping us with a great trip to Ireland.  Everything was so WELL ORGANIZED and the experience was great.  Top 3 Sandy Hills, Glashedy Ballyliffin and Old Tom Morris.

The courses, accommodations, people, and transportation were all fantastic.  We all really appreciate your help in putting this together.
         - KH, GA

Our recent trip to Ireland was WONDERFUL. Thank you for your very professional efforts on our behalf.  The hotels were excellent, and the courses exceeded expectations.  They were all wonderful -- my personal favorites were Portstewart, Royal Portrush and County Louth.

Our tee times were PERFECT. I would have enjoyed some time to explore the small towns we drove through -- but I guess I can do that on my next trip!  IRISH LINKS did an AMAZING job preparing us for the trip. Thank you for everything.
         - SS, PA

Once again, I want to express my DEEP GRATITUDE  for orchestrating an absolutely FANTASTIC journey for us. Your expertise made the entire experience SEAMLESS and ENJOYABLE from start to finish.
Thank you so much for your continued assistance and support. I have no doubt that my friend will benefit greatly from your expertise, just as we did.

The golf was magical (if not a little challenging) and the hotels and recommendations were spot on."

We had such a FANTASTIC trip,  My only complaint would be that the trip wasn't long enough. As far as golf, the old course at Portmarnock was the most special, but K Club and Portmarnock Links were also excellent courses.Thank you for all your help.

- Jeff, Doral FL

The planning and the trip itself were all top of class. The resorts, Inns and golf courses were excellent and beautiful + the weather played its part - amazing every day to highlight the spectacular views that much more. We had a great time and would highly recommend the experience and hospitality to anyone.Thank you to you and your staff. It is very much appreciated!

“”We had the most wonderful vacation! Ireland is spectacular and we loved the people and food and hotels. You orchestrated a magnificent trip! How about Adare Manor. Omg. It was Downtown Abbey on steroids!!!  Everything was perfect. Tommy, our driver became like family. Cannot wait to plan the next trip, thanks so much for all your hard work and impeccable planning.

- ML, PA

Thanks again for arranging a FANTASTIC TRIP.  Joe our driver was exceptional. It terms of Golf Courses my top 3 were:

Royal County Down; Portstewart; Royal Portrush. CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK.

- Don D NY

Just a quick note to thank you for our WONDERFUL Irish holiday. The golf courses were phenomenal and the hotels perfectly situated. Everything went off without a hitch and we appreciate your assistance in securing the golf courses, which Mike can now tick off his very long bucket list J, and hotels at such short notice in peak holiday season.  DL.

Thank you IRISH LINKS, GREAT trip!! Thanks again for your planning and help.

- BB, MA

The trip to Ireland was wonderful! Kenmare was wonderful (but don’t tell all those people over in Killarney!!). Restaurant choices were top notch.  Transportation was excellent. I’ll let the better golfers of this group summarize the courses.  We all can’t wait to go back!! Thanks!

- SJ Garden City NY

The hotels were great.  The van was fantastic.  We did a lot of driving.  But the van made it bearable. The golf courses were great.  Each had their own personality.

Overall trip was great. IRISH LINKS did a great job planning this trip.

- RK, Sylvania CC OH

The driver was really a great guy and a pleasure to be around. The European Club was very accomodating considering that we were going to be late for our tee time. Great course, difficult for just getting off an airplane. The Portmarnock Hotel was great. Really a nice place. Everyone loved the Grand Central Hotel in Belfast. That's a wonderful place to stay.Deanes Meat Locker was OK but not great. The steaks were just so so. James Street South was good. Royal County Down was my highlight of the trip. DIfficult course but good for the last day. Slieve Donard is a special place and the restaurant, Vanilla got a slow service start but got a lot better as the night went on. All in all, the trip went well.  EVERYONE HAD A GOOD TIME.

- JG Bonita Bay FL

The trip was FABULOUS.  We had unbelievably good weather the entire week. Our driver was excellent and did everything he could to take care of us. The golf courses were all top notch as were the restaurants. Our accommodations were wonderful. Everyone we encountered in Ireland was friendly and engaging and made us feel welcome. MG, Salina, KS

Everything has been fantastic . You’ve put together a wonderful trip for us. Doonbeg was beautiful. Only four holes of rain☔️. Each place is more beautiful than the next .  Thank you so very much!

- Anne and George

We had a wonderful time. That’s the bottom line. The Boham and Scores were great because they were good accommodations and the were in town so we could walk and discover things when we weren’t playing golf or seeing the country side with our driver/guides. They were all great places to stay. The set 5 course dinner we had at Moy House was the best of any in the 3 weeks we were gone. Thanks again for a great time.

- CD, Colorado

Thank you for a great trip!I hope to need your services again.

- BD, Florida.

Hello Maura, Thanks for your good work, as usual, for our Irish Links Trip. Lots of laughs and moments realizing how fortunate we are. Great Southern was a real treat and Teach de Broc was a great call. Location could not have been better.

Chris and bus worked out fine. The people friendly as ever. Your line up of courses was spot on and logistics worked out nicely. Upon consensus, Waterville was our favorite round and Teach de Broc the best meal. We'll be in touch again soon. Cheers,

- MM. Lulu PA

We returned last night from our wonderful trip. Weather could not have been better. Thanks for arranging everything for us. Next year Scotland!

We were happy with everything. You will have to tell me some ideas about Edinburgh & St. Andrews for the next time.

- AS, NJ

We had a grand time. Everything was perfect, no problems or complaints. The hosts at Loch Lein were superior!!  Paul our driver could not have been nicer.

Sometime could you send a sample itinerary for Scotland, some of us are thinking of that for the fall.

SOUTH AFRICA - WINE TOUR

We had a great time! The Cape Grace was just perfect. Alistair was a great tour guide for the Cape Peninsula. Louis was the perfect wine guide for Stellenbosch. And the wineries he took us to were exactly the kind of experience we were looking for. We tasted with either the owner or the winemaker at all three wineries. The lunch at Beau Constantia was the food experience highlight of the trip. The view was fantastic, the wines were great and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed The whole social experience at Reverie is really nice and Julia, the chef and owner was wonderful.

Overall we loved Cape Town but of course, not enough time. Thank you for all your recommendations. Everything worked out really well.

- SW, California

South Africa - Wine Tour

The winery tour was exactly as we had hoped, small – boutique wines with great wines and winemakers or owners who we could talk to about the wines. I really enjoyed our Stellenbosch day – the Granite Peak luncheon was superb – probably the best meal I had in S. Africa.

Thank you for everything. Our driver/guide Louie was fantastic, very knowledgeable and exactly what I had hoped for in a guide. He knows his wines!

I must say the trip EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS.  The hotels and staff were excellent. I loved the Jigger Inn (best fish and chips and sticky pudding-we tried it everywhere!), the St Andrews Bar & Grill(best seafood), Whisky Bar, Oink( best roasted pig). My favorite courses were Kingbarns  and the Old Course. Old course was a supernatural experience! My caddies were all great and I could not have played without them. I became a scotch drinker and loved St Andrews ale. GREAT TRIP! WOULD RECOMMEND IRISH LINKS.

I’m back from the trip and wanted to say thank you again for all your help!  Everyone had a GREAT TIME and the COURSES WERE TERRIFIC!  I really enjoyed the post tour on the west coast and thought it was more similar to Irish golf, which was terrific.  We are working on the location for our next trip and will be in touch to help with the plans.  Thank you!

THE TRIP WAS GREAT! Rob, our driver was really good.  We had 9 holes of rain the whole trip and lots of wind throughout.  WE WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING.

Thank you!

As always, thanks for your continued efforts on making these trips so special.  The Dublin hotel was fabulous and so was their restaurant.  The Island and County Louth courses were very good and nice preparation for Portmarnock and Royal County Down, which were truly special.

The Newcastle Hotel was very well situated to Royal County Down, nice to wake up and be able to walk the course.  Overall, as we would expect from you it was A WONDERFUL TRIP. Thanks for your help.

We had an absolutely TERRIFIC VACATION ! Thanks for all your work on our behalf. I will be sure to recommend you and your company to any friends considering a trip to Ireland.(Highlights included) – ROCK OF CASHEL  (it was the first stop we made after leaving Dublin and it really made you feel the history and beauty of the place), CLIFFS OF MOHER (better than I could have imagined). KILLARNEY PARK Hotel was top notch. Trump DOONBEG - the cottages were really a nice touch. It was good to have my wife Kara with her two sisters and parents all under one roof. EVERY SINGLE PUB WAS GREAT!!

- CB, St. Ives Country Club, GA

Ours was the TRIP OF A LIFETIME! We loved the variety of hotels/inns you chose for us and we were shocked by the great foods we found in the restaurants & pubs. The 2 drivers we had were knowledgeable, prompt & polite & enhanced our travels so much. And the golf courses . . . fabulous! So we're home but have a new love for Ireland, it's people & their pride & knowledge of their history & culture. Thank you for your hard work and responsiveness to our needs & hopes for this trip. We WOULDN'T HESITATE TO RECOMMEND you to our friends. And we hope to call on you again to visit other parts of Ireland, Scotland or even Italy.

IRELAND

The Ireland trip was FANTASTIC. The people were all very friendly and the weather was perfect. You were right, the driving was not that bad, and I did get used to it very quick. The Ring of Kerry drive was awesome. We pulled over many times for some spectacular views, especially at the Cliffs of Kerry. We did some hiking and a boat tour of lakes in Kilarney. There are no words really to describe the Ashford Castle. That was an experience with the history, that we will never forget. We spent some time in Galway to experience a bigger city also – great fun.

The Cliffs of Moher was something to behold. Amazing. Had a great ½ day there. Irish people love their breakfast... Guiness was amazing.

Anyway, thanks for your help in setting this up. IT WAS A TRIP OF A LIFETIME. I wish we had a couple more days. We would have went to Dublin and Belfast. We will have to save that for next time. Thanks again.

Just wanted to thank you and your Company for what was an amazing trip to Ireland. Your commitment to The Els for Autism cause is truly inspirational.  I don't think I will ever have such a special time playing golf. Every course we played had its own character and the people and caddies we met during each round were all such good people. I have to say Old Head was the most special for me.

- R. Lumsden, ELS FOR AUTISM, 2014 Fundraisers Prize Winner.

ITALY

In general we liked Florence. Both golf courses there were very hilly. The day we played Castiglione then went to the  hill towns was the best, walked around Montalcino, San Querico, and ate in Pienza at Sette di Vino, another small, very regional place. Could have used another day at Castiglione to play the course again and hit some more hill towns at night, like Montalpuciano. These towns, especially at night , are what you expect of Italy. The Sofitel in Rome was nice, great breakfast, but a little out of the way. Our flights on Alitalia went smoothly and the business class cabin very nice. All in all, a successful trip.

A total consensus. Words can't describe how awesome this trip was, full of great memories and a ton of pictures - many of which will find their way to a frame in our offices I'm sure.  Thanks again for an incredible experience and one to be remembered for life.

Just wanted to let you know we had an AMAZING time in Ireland!!! You arranged a fabulous trip and everything worked out perfectly... flight, car rental, hotels, golf and weather (although I don't think that was your doing;)) I loved all the courses, but Old Head was definitely my favorite. Not only were the views spectacular but I played my best golf that day after only 2 hours of sleep and several Jamesons...you gotta love the Irish!! Thank you again for all your help.

- JR, Westchester Country Club, NY

I am writing to tell you that the trip was a total success. We loved Ireland - the people, the land, the food (and beer) and surly the wonderful hotels. Well, we were delighted to stay at the Hayfield Manor and said it's going to be hard to top that until we checked into the Aghadoe Heights hotel, for sure our favorite. What a place. We can't wait to return to Killarney, one of my new favorite places in the whole world. The view has got to be one of the most beautiful vistas in the world.

Everyone who visits Ireland should stay in a castle and the Dromoland was outstanding. Actually every hotel staff member at every hotel was most gracious and kind which made our trip that much more fun. We followed your itinerary almost to the book- the restaurants, sights, etc.

You did an outstanding job. So great that the first thought we had upon our return was to talk to you about a trip to Scotland next summer. Thanks for everything you did and now I have to tell my 50 closest friends about "IRISH LINKS".

- Frank P, Glen Ellen, IL

Thank you so much for your terrific plan for our Irish holiday. Everything went off without a hitch…from our pick-up at the airport by Robby (charming and fun) to the hotel accommodations, dinner reservations and car arrangements. The locales were fabulous as were your suggestions for what to see and where to eat. I especially want to single out Aghadoe Heights. Walking into the spacious room with a panoramic view of the lakes was awesome. The service, amenities and everything else easily met the standard set by the incredible view. And, how did you arrange for me to catch a lively brown trout (the only catch!) on the Maigue River at Adare Manor?! Many, many thanks. If you ever have need of a recommendation, please do not hesitate to call on us.

- A.Knowles, Exec VP, Telesight, Chicago, IL

The group had a wonderful time in spite of the horrific weather conditions that they encountered. Apparently they golfed in sleet, hail, rain and 60MPH winds. He said that they got all the rounds in except the afternoon round at Cashen. They liked the driver and I believe that they were satisfied with the accommodations. Thanks for all your help with the booking. We will work together again. Kind Regards,

We had a terrific time. Thank you for arranging. We ended up play 12 rounds in 9 days. Look forward to another trip. Turnberry was our favorite. Gleneagles was nice but too resorts but glad to have done it. Kingsbarns and Carnoustie were our favourite courses in St Andrews. Andrew Fairlie restaurant I think a bit over rated. We ate at Rocca grill in St Andrews. Loved it.So glad we drove rather than being chauffeured. Best way to experience the country.

I can honestly say that the experience was priceless...even the weather worked out! Thank you for your recommendations too for dining...spot on!

SOUTHERN AFRICA: SAFARI GOLF & WINE TOURS

The journey to your beloved South Africa was nothing short of amazing! Mary and I cannot stop talking about each and every leg of this fabulous trip. We have some great pics of the Gang as well as the animals at Pumba, Monkeyland, and Bird land not to forget all the animal pics in Zambia. The golf was great at Fancourt, the wines at Ernie Els winery just delicious and the people of South Africa are interesting, polite, engaging and warm. I could go on and on but the most important thing is a big thank you to you for a sterling job well done. There were no glitches and every detail was well thought out. Thanks again Maura, you are a delight to know and to do business with as well. Let's stay in touch!!

SCOTLAND

Probably the best trip I’ve ever had, and there have been a few. Everything worked perfectly. Tee times, caddies at all the courses; accommodations superb; meals superb. Rusacks is just a great place to start with the views of the old course, and north sea, etc. The Peat Inn was our most favorite meal. Andrew Fairlie was spectacular, but I’m afraid surpassed my ability for appreciation. It’s just too sophisticated for my taste. Glad to have been there, but Michelin 1 star is as high as I need to go. Bunchrew house probably our favorite hotel. Just perfect. Gleneagles very different, and glad to have gone. All the courses were spectacular; (The Castle Course, The Old Course, Kingsbarns, Carnoustie, Royal Dornoch, Royal Aberdeen, Cruden Bay and The Kings Course Gleneagles). Cruden Bay probably our least favorite, but still wonderful. We got rained on first afternoon, but not thereafter. This despite the fact that it was raining everywhere else in Scotland and England, and on us while driving. Incidentally, Collin was super. Bottom line: great trip, and thank you so much. Certainly you could use that itinerary for anyone, and be proud.

IRELAND

What a shock we had back in October when Ernie (Els) picked our names out of the barrel and you presented us with a FIRST CLASS golfing experience to Ireland. Well, you did not let us down! The trip lived up to all our expectations and beyond. From the driver, Con, waiting at Shannon Airport and taking us to the best hotels and best golf courses in style and comfort, WOW !!

There were no favorites. How could there be. Golf at Adare Manor, Old Head, Waterville, Ballybunnion, Tralee, Doonbeg and Lahinch. Seven of the best. And the accommodation at Old Head, Killarney Park and Doonbeg.... you spoiled us rotten.

THANK YOU for everything and for making it all so easy. The flights, hotels, transport and golf. We can't say enough and please accept our sincere appreciation for everything you did to guarantee that Seamus and I and our six friends had a trip of a lifetime.

- George C – Las Vegas, NV

We just got back last night and what a FABULOUS trip we had. What a finish....a SUNNY day on the Old Course, St. Andrews!!! We actually were so lucky with the weather. We only had 2 bad days, Kingsbarn and Castle Course. But when it's bad it is REALLY bad. We were playing in 50 mph winds coming off the North Sea pushing the rain, and sometimes hail, side ways. The caddies thought we were crazy... but we were there and we were determined to play (scores were outrageous though)! The Old Course was so far above our expectations. Everyone had told us it was flat and nothing to it, etc etc. Well, there were A LOT of little "pop up" bunkers that you couldn't see until you were in them which made the course. It was so much more exciting and fun than the perspective you get from seeing it on TV. What an experience to play all those championship courses.

Andrew, our driver, was just the best. He was so personable, helpful, knowledgeable, thoughtful. He knows everyone at all the hotels and golf courses. He checked us in to all the courses. We drove from Edinburgh to Kingsbarns and he dropped us off. We checked into the hotel after our round and he had unloaded all the suitcases and had them delivered to our rooms. Just above and beyond.

We enjoyed all the restaurants you suggested. Lochgreen House in Troon was wonderful. The rooms were large and the restaurant for dinner was yummy. The Witchery was quite an experience. The day manager, Roxy, is a real character and endeared himself to us and took great care of us. We all had different configured and decorated rooms so it was fun to peak. The Olympic torch went right past The Witchery. The street the hotel is on was blocked off to pedestrians, but because we were guests of the hotel, they let us stand in front and watch the runner take it right by us, up the hill to the castle. An unexpected experience.

You "did good", Maura. Again!!! Many thanks for organizing this trip which we all will have such wonderful memories of.

I wanted to say thank you for all the hard work and planning that went in to our trip. IT WAS THE BEST ONE EVER! I also wanted to give you a little feedback for future groups. The Lochgreen House Hotel was great. All the staff were all very warm and courteous. We ate at the Hotel every night and every meal was excellent. Rusacks in St. Andrews was nice, but not as nice as Lochgreen House. Rooms were just ok, staff not as friendly although accommodating, but what a great location.Vine Leaf Restaurant was outstanding. Food was great, staff was very accommodating. We ended up eating at the Dunvegan the first night we arrived not knowing it was on the sheet as a recommendation. It was a very good recommendation. Great place to hang out. Jigger Inn was very nice as well.We had an outstanding dinner at the Peat Inn, although we thought it a better place to take our wives rather than 8 golf buddies. Felt a bit underdressed, and thought it was a bit stuffy, Great Food. The folks at the Old Course were the only ones that asked us for proof of Handicap, etc., which is what I expected.
THANKS AGAIN, AND GREAT JOB TO ALL.

- Dan L. Park Ridge, IL

AWESOME TIME. Graywalls is tops. Michael very solid. Golf spectacular. Thanks for everything.

- Jimmy B, New York.

We had an absolutely GREAT GOLF TRIP and thank you so much for all you did to make it happen and all went so smoothly....while I thought this would be a "once in a lifetime experience" I now plan on going back with my son, etc., and try it all again!!

ENGLAND GOLF COAST

Re Cambridge House, it really depends on your guests. I’m the type of person who prefers a B&B to the Four Seasons. However, some people prefer spas and fawning staff. Our group preferred the charm of Cambridge House. As comparisons, we loved Falcon House and the Blair Estate whereas the Old Course Hotel is nothing special.

Re the area, no question, it’s a worthwhile destination. It’s a great benefit to be able to stay in one place and not have to change hotels during the week. This area offers three British Open Rota venues plus several other fine links courses. We go to the UK to play links courses; we have far better parkland courses in the US but we don’t have real linksland.

Re IRISH LINKS, I really can’t think of much you could do better. For an organizer like me, the key is getting the tee times, hotel reservations and dinner reservations right. One incorrect tee time puts a damper on the whole week. IN THE FIVE TRIPS THAT WE HAVE BOOKED THROUGH YOU, I DON’T RECALL EVER HAVING A PROBLEM WITH ANY OF THESE.

- Lee C. Wayland, MA

IRELAND

We had a wonderful time on our trip to Ireland. The weather was great w the exception of one day at LAHINCH. We liked all the golf courses except maybe Royal Dublin, which was just OK. DOONBEG was a fabulous lodge. We had our own building. Butler Arms was nice except the beds were tiny. Acton hotel nice. Loved the Brooks Hotel in Dublin...perfect location, great service, lovely rooms.I also want to complement our driver, John Fleming. He was everything you'd want from a driver. Thanks for everything,

- Ken J. Oxford, MD

IRELAND – 2011 SOLHEIM CUP

I loved my trip to Ireland - it is now my most favorite country to visit. How can you not love a place which is lush, green, and beautiful and the people are charming. The Irish people all asked if I was "having a grand time". And, of course, my answer was Yes. I'm already thinking about another visit.

We all loved our bus drivers - Alec and Dennis - speaking of fun and charming. They didn't just drive us around - they took time to talk to us as a group and individually. They were just the best. The young lady from IRISH LINKS who was with us daily was lovely. She handled all questions and situations with grace and kindness.

I was also surprised about the food - everything was so fresh and good. The cream and butter tasted as if it came directly from all those beautiful cows in the surrounding fields. I even started eating bread at all meals because it was so good. We Americans seem to have additives in all of our food but the Irish food seemed to be just good food.

One more story - I never would have thought I would like Guinness. But, with just a touch of black currant, at the right temperature, fresh, and poured correctly - definitely yummy. My husband couldn't believe I was drinking beer!

Yes, I loved Ireland. Thank you so much for a wonderful trip.

- Ann M., Yorktown, VA

I had a great time at the Solheim Cup! I'm so glad I went, especially with an organized tour group.

Here are my highlights:

1. Playing the Monty course at the Carton House. I'll never look at sand traps the same! When there are steps leading into the trap, you know you're in trouble!

2. Playing at Headfort. The new course was good, the welcome & dinner afterwards were great. The best part was having one of their members playing in our foursome. "Little Geraldine" was a gem and it was very interesting talking that long with a local.

3. Going to the practice rounds & tournament were great, but Solheim Sunday was awesome. The excitement, the tension, hanging on the results of each match, the chanting & camaraderie in the crowds.

- Wendy D., Lebanon, ME

It was a great trip---Even though, I missed my first 2 days for stupidly taking my expired passport.
IRISH LINKS came through for me by picking me up at the airport too!

Thank you,

Hello everyone. My trip to IRELAND was great. I enjoyed the 3 golf courses I played and the people
were real nice to us and they had lunch for us after play. The people was nice everywhere we went.
On Wed. we left early to go to the city 'DUBLIN'. The bus driver left around 7:30 AM and when we
arrive he said "my bus will be ready at 6:pm and don't be late. I thought to myself what will we do till 6:pm.

DUBLIN is a beautiful City. The bus drivers were really nice, enjoyed both of them. The bus driver took up on many wonderful trips. He would stop and let us get out and take pictures. Thank You for all the nice things you did as the months went by.

- Juanita

We had the best trip to Ireland and the lady from IRISH LINKS was a pure delight! Keep me informed on your next golfing trips & certainly Solheim Cup. Even with all those women, Billy had a great time!

- Mary B., Burlington, VT

You employed 2 of the best "bus-tour" gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure to be "driven" around Ireland in! I will log into your facebook at my earliest and update my trip "events"

- Sue F., Lynchburg, VA

Every person from Ireland that I met was extremely friendly and helpful.

- Janet K., Springfield, IL

I have to say I really enjoyed the banter between the USA and European fans. The whole trip was memorable ... The golf courses are awesome, the locals are friendly, funny and hospitable, the Irish dancers were something to see up close ... between the site seeing, the Solheim Cup and golfing, it was my most memorable and favorite trip!

- Cyndy K., Princeton, WI

What really stands out for me was playing Portmarnock Links golf course, just magical. I will never forget that experience as long as I live. It was also a total blast to see it on TV last week on Golf Channel's Big Break. Also, the members at Headfort Arms Golf Club could not have been more kind, warm and welcoming. Lovely people despite horrific weather!

- Charlotte B., Redondo Beach, CA

What I loved about Ireland was that the people were kind and sincere and so proud of their country! All the locals we met wanted to be sure we had a good time! Our bus driver (Jamie) was always interested in our well being and never said "no" to any of our requests. We can't wait to go back!

IRISH LINKS Trip #9 is in the books and everyone is back home safe and sound!

GREAT... FANTASTIC... FLAWLESS... not a glitch, not a ding, not a missed detail (as I have come to expect from IRISH LINKS)... Sandwich was a treat and we played great golf and roamed to EVERY pub in the beautiful village... the BELL HOTEL was perfect too... The OAKLEY COURT HOTEL was loved by all... still very British, very good. Both Sunningdale and WALTON HEATH were venerable old heathland courses. We can't go on enough about SOUTHPORT and the CAMBRIDGE HOUSE HOTEL! The group loved it and the proprietor RICHARD SHARPE made it very special... I believe we put a very serious hurt on his bar and he subsequently he must have had a record week! The food, accommodation, and staff were all geared to make golfers happy!!!!

The golf was fantastic and we loved all the "Royals"... The real treat was the weather.... 10 rounds of golf AND NO RAIN.... not a drop! Low 70's with a nice breeze... if I didn't know better I swear you arranged that too! To your entire staff.... THANK YOU! Our best trip yet. I loved it! I can't wait to start planning Trip #10!

- Gregg B, Naples, FL

IRELAND

I just wanted to thank you for the FIRST CLASS trip you planned for us to Ireland! Our driver Mike O'Neil was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and was very accommodating as we decided to add a few more rounds of golf in. The Killarney Plaza was a great choice for a hotel and although the drives to the course were a little long the views and the fact we didn't have to change hotels made it much easier. Killarney was also a beautiful town and some day I hope to go back. Thanks again for your assist with our trip to Ireland!

- John H. Albany, NY

We just returned from Dublin and wanted to complement you on the planning and organization of the trip. The weather was terrific, the golf courses a challenge, especially Royal County Down and John Fleming the driver was a wonderful guy and a true professional. Thanks again for all your help. The Brooks Hotel by the way was a nice spot with very accommodating staff in a great location.

Thank you very much for the arrangements for our trip to Scotland. My three sons and myself had a once in a lifetime experience. What a great way to celebrate another of my "big" birthdays. Your arrangements including all of the car services, restaurant choices and the tee times at the courses were done flawlessly. Thanks again!!!

- Dick S. Vero Beach, FL.

Just a short note to thank you for all you did to arrange our GREAT trip! We all had a fabulous time. You made our trip so easy and so memorable! Everything went so smoothly that at times, we had to just marvel at how lucky we had been to ask you to point us in the "right direction". Our accommodations were wonderful and all of your suggestions for side trips were also great. Rest assured, that we have and will continue to recommend you to our friends who are wishing for Ireland. Again, thanks for a wonderfully planned trip.

- LO, Port St. Lucie, FL

Just wanted to thank you for putting together a FABULOUS golf experience for all of us. We really lucked out on the weather having only 1 day of rain which I know is a very unusual for Ireland. Everyone loved the contrast between our 3 places of accommodations. We went from remote seaside, to the city of Killarney to the quaintness of Kinsale. I had told our friends that we were saving the best for last and they were all in agreement that Old Head was incredible. We had beautiful sunshine for each of our rounds there. No way it could have been any better. Many, many thanks.

- Chris A. Hamptons, New York.

Maura, I am writing to thank you for your efforts in putting together our golf trip. I think I speak for everyone when I say it was an unforgettable experience. The courses were spectacular, the accommodations and meals were first class, and the service superb.Michael and the staff at The Vaughan Lodge were incredible and Jamie was a pleasure to be with. I know I will recommend you to my friends and colleagues who are considering golf trips abroad.

- Thanks, Rob P., New Jersey.

Rob got to you before I had a chance to send you something but he said exactly what I would have said. The trip is something my sons and I will never forget. You laid it out perfectly and ,as I think you know, we were very lucky with only 4 golf holes in the rain in 6 rounds. Jamie was a pleasure to be with and he does a great job taking care of your customers. The Vaughan Lodge and Killarney Plaza are great places for a group like ours to stay and the Old Bank was also very nice with the people and service excellent. Again thanks for a job well done. I hope I get a chance to do this again soon and you can be sure if I do, you will get a call.

- Andrew S. New Jersey

What an outstanding event! The IRISH LINKS Championship is the best of the best. We are eagerly awaiting next year, when we intend to recapture the Cup! On behalf of all the Irish Team, Thank You.

- Capt. Jim O'Malley

I would also like to add my compliments and thanks for the most excellent event. I had the time of my life. I also want to thank everyone in the group for the fun and friendship extended to me as a first timer. I look forward to seeing you all again.

- Eric, Portland, OR

Another year… another success. My thanks to Maura and her entire team for the seamless execution of a challenging itinerary. As always a great tournament but most importantly our annual opportunity to renew ties with both our Irish and American friends. On behalf of all of us from Costa Rica I'd also like to thank Bob Dunning for carrying the late night torch for our group and allowing us to actually get some sleep.

- Pura Vida,Landy

Just wanted to let you know how fantastic the 2009 Irish Links was this year and thank you again for putting this special time together for us. The accomodations and golf courses were absolutely first class. Thank you again for all of the hard work and coordination that you put into this to make it so special. You are the best!!!

Thank you for the wonderful trip. Your planning and thoughtfulness make for the most memorable parties that I get to attend. I look forward to 2010 in Cork and being with your international invitees which have now become my friends. It is no wonder you are such a successful business woman.

- JP, Darien, CT.

IRELAND

"I wanted to thank you for putting together the most amazing trip I have ever been on in my life. Perfect weather, unbelievable golf, hotels, dinners and especially Jack our driver was fantastic. Ireland blew us away with the beauty of the countryside, mountains and particularly the scenes from the courses. It is now my favorite country and we will be making another trip in time. Thanks again and we will be talking about this trip for years to come. I will of course be referring anybody and everybody to IRISH LINKS. I cannot imagine it getting better than what we had!

- KF New Jersey.

I completely forgot to drop you a note after our May trip to say "wonderful, terrific, perfect"! The venues were all top shelf (particularly Mt. Falcon Country House although Tiger and O'Meara weren't there at the time!), and we enjoyed very good weather with the exception of one memorably rainy howling day at Doonbeg! (but we finished all 18 to, the caddies chagrin I suspect) The Ford diesel van was perfect, and we only got lost once (overshot the Connemara course and got to see a lot of white ponies!). So thanks as always for the great job that you folks do, and we will do all future trips with you!

- Pat R, Chicago

2008 IRISH LINKS CHAMPIONSHIP

"...the courses we played and the accommodations on this 2008 IRISH LINKS Championship were the best yet. Every year has been fantastic... but this was the best overall and will be on my 'return again' list. Thank you for putting such a memorable event together.

- R H, Powell, FL

Just wanted to say that I had a fantastic time this year. The courses, the hotels, and the fantastic friendships I made ! I don't know how you do it over and over and over!! Can't wait for next year!

- D.F, Palm Beach, FL

2007

We wanted to say thank you for all your efforts on our Scotland tour. Everything went perfectly from the moment we were greeted at the Glasgow airport. The minivan was perfect for a party of four and the courses were absolutely magnificent as were the accommodations. The weather even cooperated for the most part, 40 mph winds not withstanding. Again, thanks much for all your efforts. Our trip was perfect and I'd be delighted to serve as a reference should you wish.

- DD, Northbrook, IL

Wow, what a trip! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the trip you put together for us. I had heard with Kohler and Bandon who needs to go abroad. The answer is simple, any real golf enthusiast who seeks the best of the best. While I love Kohler and Bandon, this experience was very different from those. Royals Birkdale, Portrush and County Down were breathtaking, challenging and rank high in the top golf courses I have ever played. The Slieve was over the top, too. Irish Links did another great job for Yudaman. I have and will continue to tell my friends of your exceptional service and attention to detail.

- Yudagirl! Richard S. Atlanta, GA

Maura: What a fabulous trip we had to Ireland. The courses were perfect with unbelievable views not to mention great course conditions and set up. Weather was fine in the 70's F most of the days. No rain gear was necessary and certainly no winter garb was needed, as well. The accomodations were excellent... Jimmy was very cordial and a safe driver knowing his way around on those very narrow roads. I would certainly recommend your services to any potential customers.

- Tom P, Charlotte, NC

Everything IRISH LINKS did was great - from planning to execution, nothing could have been better! Kevin O'Sullivan, our driver, is a great driver, fun and interesting person. Waterville, Lahinch, Doonbeg and Ballybunion were all great but for different reasons - there were nothing but positives. We will definitely contact you again for our next trip.

- HH, Atherton, CA.

Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know the trip was just great. In short - it couldn't be better. The courses were A-1, we had a super reception at every club and our driver, Jerry McElligot, was exceptional. The restaurants that were set up for us were excellent. By the way, the weather was perfect for golf - and no rain! How can you beat that? We are much appreciative.

- B.C., Bridgton, ME.

I never fully expressed my thanks to you. Our 2006 SW Ireland links trip was quite simply the best golf outing I've ever been on!Our group of 8 seemed to be an ideal number to have. Your planning and trip coordination went without a hitch, our driver Dave was a hoot and I'd recommend him as a driver, if possible, to anyone as a driver for their group. The owners of the Vaughan Lodge in Lahinch, Michael and Maria, were/are the best Inn proprietors I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. They literally made you feel at home. Their food was super and the best bedding I've ever experienced in lodging or hotels.Don't hesitate to give my name and number to anyone considering using your tour and expertise in planning the best golf outing of their lives.

- DT, Tallahassee, Fl

I wanted to take a moment and give you a big "thank you and hug" from the group for a job well done. We did not have a hitch. Our driver, Mike, was absolutely excellent - a very caring person, knowledgeable and a fabulous driver. The hotels were wonderful...your suggestions for dinner were perfect - we enjoyed each and every one of them for their fine food, atmosphere and Irish charm...So all in all, Maura, you had 8 very happy clients - we will all highly recommend your company and services. ...this was our first visit to Ireland and definitely not our last…

- RE. Bloomfield Hills, Mi

Even though the challenge we gave you for the 2007 trip to Ireland and Scotland was next to impossible, the planning and execution of the 10 straight days of golf were PERFECT in every way.The driver of our luxury coach, Robbie Gilmore, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The owner's suite at Doonbeg was special. The Waterville House was as scenic and restful as in the past. The Glassdrumman Lodge could not have been any more fun and accommodating to our late arrival. The lodges at Turnberry are Five Star. The dining was excellent every night. We never had an average meal. We really enjoyed dinner at the Dunvagen in St. Andrews. The golf courses were all magnificent and as challenging as ever. Congratulations for exceeding our expectations. We cannot thank you enough! We look forward to planning our next trip with you.

- SW, La Canada, CA

2006

I wanted to let you know that our group thoroughly enjoyed our golf trip to Ireland. The courses were spectacular, the accommodations first rate, and our driver Dave was a great guy who went the extra step to make us feel totally welcome in Ireland. While all of the accommodations were quite good, we were all extremely impressed with the Vaughn Inn in Lahinch which we all would highly recommend as a must stay location for Lahinch based groups. We were fortunate to be blessed with exceptionally good weather. All in all you and your staff did a great job in putting together the trip of a lifetime for us all. We look forward to letting you plan our next trip for us.

- SE, Tallahassee, FL

The McCormick family had an absolutely fabulous and wonderful trip to Ireland and thank you for your perfect arrangements. We really appreciated alternating two night stays with one night as well as city and country venues. Everything was just perfect. We loved every place we stayed and loved the staff everywhere. The golfers in the group know they couldn't have played better courses to get a feel for golf in Ireland. We can't thank you enough for your wonderful arrangements that suited our family perfectly. Your staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating and we all thank you for making our first trip to Ireland the trip of a lifetime. Thank you again for everything you did for us and if we ever travel to Ireland again we will be contacting you.

- J McC, Baltimore, MD

I just wanted to say thanks for what was a very successful and uneventful (as far as problems go) trip. The courses were great, the accommodations excellent, dinner choices solid and travel easy. The guys had a great time; unbelievably, it stopped raining once we got to our first course and we didn't see a drop for the week! Thanks to you and your staff for arranging such a great trip.

- LC, Wayland, MA

The trip went very smoothly and all my friends think I'm a world class trip planner, so kudos to you! Dave Spillane was an absolutely terrific driver and host. I ran into a group from Sacramento in Brown's restaurant, who had just finished 10 days in Scotland, were vacationing in Ireland, and were hungry to play there next time. I gave them your website and a solid recommendation, so hope they follow up. Until the next one, many thanks.

"We had a great trip. Jamie our driver was excellent. The hotels were great as well, the restaurant recommendations were terrific. The golf was, of course, the best! We have done the trip now 4 times to both Ireland and Scotland. No trip takes a back seat to the Northwest! Carne was our overall favorite, followed closely by Enniscrone and Sandy Hills at Rosapenna. Rosses Point a world class layout and beautiful. All in all an outstanding trip. Your advice was great, the execution flawless.

- SS, Waban, MA.

"I am writing to thank you for your help in making our trip to Ireland so enjoyable and so memorable. The accommodations were great, the golf courses unforgettable. You are well known over there and everyone speaks very highly of IRISH LINKS. Again, many, many thanks.
